Al Baraka Islamic Bank Announces Grand Prize Winner of BD300,000 and Unveils alBarakat Prizes’ New Scheme

Al Baraka Islamic Bank (AIB), one of the leading Bahraini financial institutions in the field of Islamic banking, announced the winners of alBarakat account, including the grand prize winner of BD 300,000 Mr. Ahmed Al Subaihi. The bank also unveiled the new scheme of alBarakat account prizes, which is scheduled to launch from October until December 2020 and expected to include over 180 winners.

During the month of September, a total of 41 winners were announced in alBarakat account raffle draw, including the winner of the most anticipated Grand Prize. Additionally, 40 winners were awarded the monthly prize of BD 500 each. The draw was held at Al Baraka headquarters in Bahrain Bay and attended by officials from the management team, as well as internal and external auditors, under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Al Subaihi expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the bank for winning the Grand Prize, adding that he was pleasantly surprised by this announcement that brought joy to his whole family. Mr. Al Subaihi also lauded the bank's efforts to ensure transparency and credibility, stressing their importance in building customers' trust and satisfaction.

Further commenting on the prize draws and alBarakat’s new scheme, Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Islamic Bank, Mr. Hamad Abdulla Al Oqab, said: “We are truly excited to announce the Grand Prize winner of BD 300,000 from alBarakat account prize draws in September, as well as all the winners throughout this year. We would also like invite everyone to enter the draw for alBarakat’s prizes through opening an account or increasing their savings balance for higher chances of winning.”

“The new edition of alBarakat account will offer more customers the opportunity to win greater cash prizes. We look forward to new customers entering the upcoming raffle draws which will be held in October throughout the remainder of the year,” added Mr. Hamad Abulla Al Oqab.

In conjunction with the conclusion of the current alBarakat scheme, the bank announced the new prize draw schedule until December 2020, which includes a larger number of monthly winners with 60 prizes distributed weekly, to be drawn for 20 cash prizes worth BD 500 per week. In addition, the new scheme will include a monthly Grand Prize of BD 10,000 in October and November, as well as a Grand Prize winner of BD 100,000 for the month of December.

The alBarakat account offers customers many opportunities to win amazing cash prizes throughout their investment period, by depositing a minimum amount of BD 50. Individuals of all nationalities over the age of 18 are eligible to open alBarakat Savings Account. The Account can also be opened on behalf of minors by their parents or their legal representatives, as well as by institutions and companies.
