Al Baraka Islamic Bank Launches Home Remittance Service to Pakistan
Al Baraka Islamic Bank BSC (c) launched Home Remittance Service to Pakistan for its customers in Bahrain, a new service, which will be added to the portfolio of innovative banking services and products offered by the Bank.
Under the new service, customers who have an account with Al Baraka Islamic Bank in Bahrain will be eligible to transfer funds to customers who have an account with Al Baraka Bank of Pakistan or any other bank in Pakistan. The remittance will be free for customers sending remittance more than PKR 21,000/- to their home country safe, fast and reliable.
On this occasion, CEO and board member of Al Baraka Islamic Bank Mr. Mohammed Isa Al Mutaweh said: "We at Al Baraka Islamic Bank are always looking to offer innovative banking products and services that meet the needs of our customers from different categories. Today, we are pleased to introduce the remittance service to Pakistan, which will benefit many segments of society such as families with students studying in Pakistan, as well as residents and communities with families, relatives in Pakistan and other segments. This service is also a model of cooperation between Al Baraka Banking Group units in expanding and enhancing their contributions to their communities. "
